Description
Replica 2 gallon gas tank features the classic XR 750 design with a raw steel construction.
The petcock is on the right side and uses 1975-up type petcock.
Accepts bung style vented gas cap.
Mounting bolts and bung style gas cap must be ordered separately.
Measures 48cm long, 21.5cm wide and tunnel measures 8cm wide.
Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting.
Do not grind or sand the seams or joints.
Clean the inside of the tank.
It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer.
Check petcock opening, making sure the petcock can be easily installed.
Petcock fitting should be masked or plugged during painting for easy installation of petcock.
